This is an open discussion forum for users to discuss WebRing features, wishes, thoughts, etc. QUESTIONS about and PROBLEMS with the System should be posted in detail using the support forums in Help. Negative, derogatory or personal comments will be deleted. Sadly, due to spamming and anonymous trashing of other users we have had to restrict posting to signed in members.

Please remember to tell your membership about this - 09/28/2006
I just sent this message out to the memberships of the Blue Ribbon Supporters and Free Speech rings, telling them about what's going on. Please feel free to cut and paste and ship this sucker out yourself, but one way or another, please tell your members about this: Title: "Ring members - you need to read this. Seriously." Text:

"If you haven't looked over the new Webring membership plan, you need to, right now. While the subject may not sound very sexy, it affects you very directly if, like almost everybody on this system, you have more than five ring memberships (not to be confused with webring ids). If you do and you stay at the free membership level, my understanding is that Webring will remove your sites from enough rings to drop you down to your allowed level of five. Should you be a ringmaster yourself and have more have two rings, you again will be over the maximum allowed for a free membership - and the two levels above it aren't that generous.

Some have already spoken up and continue to do so, but regardless of how you choose to respond, some kind of action on your part is needed. If you know somebody else on this system, please pass this message along, because after years of getting these self-congratulatory "webring newsletters" ("we now have over a trillion member websites"), most people seem to have stopped reading them, and this time the information is fairly important. Most people might not already know - and they need to.

Joe aka cafe_satan"
