There have been many trends in TV over the last 20 years, but recently there has been a nearly complete overhaul of the way tv shows appear to the viewer. Reality tv is a big player, of course, as is the "continuous plotline" style of tv shows as is seen in Alias, 24, and LOST as opposed to the "one shot" style of the CSI and Law and Order franchises.
So here's the big question: are things getting better or worse?

WHAT IS TRADING?
TV shows are free over the airwaves, but sometimes we forget to record our favorite shows. Don't you love it when you realize that your friend recorded your show for you, and can just make you a copy for free? Well that describes TRADING in a nutshell. This ring is full of people what HAVE ALREADY RECORDED YOUR FAVORITE SHOWS for you, and are willing to trade them to you, either for shows that you have recorded or for the cost of materials and shipping to copy them for you. The shows themselves, of course, are free, and no copyrights are inferred or given. Those "selling" shows for inordinate fees are not welcome here. Also, PIRATES ARE NOT WELCOME IN THIS RING!!! The difference between piracy and trading is that trading takes place with shows that are NOT commercially available--i.e. trading is the only way for fans to get the show--whereas a pirate is selling you a copy of something that you could buy in a store--and that is illegal. So here we try to provide a safe and legal place for everyone to get thier favorite tv shows, good luck!
