Despite the many times carnal men have been warned that God is Spirit and can only be found through man's indwelling spiritual nature (Jn 4:24), most believers continue to reject the spirit and turn to scripture in pursuit of the "letter that killeth." The scriptures are the Key of Knowledge that must be turned within to open the door to the Kingdom and enter the True Temple. Those who seek God by the letter--rather than by the Spirit--walk the broad way of self-destruction.
