Sites in this Ring share a common interest in aerophilately -- the collection of airmail stamps and covers. Membership is limited to sites that have significant aerophilatelic content, and to dealers who deal extensively in aerophilatelic material.
The Irish Airmail Society was founded in 1989, coincidentally, on the 50th Anniversary of the first regular trans-Atlantic passenger and airmail service to Foynes. The member's interests are varied but include, Early Flights, Rates, Routes, Recent Irish Flights, Aerogrammes, Airmail Stamps and Etiquettes, etc.

The Metropolitan Air Post Society, MAPS, is an association of aerophilatelists: started as the Metropolitan Airmail Cover Club, MACC, in 1941. We still collect covers as souvenirs of memorable air mail and aviation events. Now the emphasis is increasingly in air post history, and the development of aviation, airlines and air mail services.
