I feel myself like a "Asperger" and their "rare" intelligence. After reading very interesting things about Autism, It Would be enteraly preferable to look at "human sicknesses" as societal or culture symptoms of the global sickness of our nowdays local (glokal) euro culture. Within Nature Autism "problems" alquimize through a magical armony and creativity. With other animals, Autists are "in the glory". Because they return to their historicaly structural (sensorial, informational) acouplements with thousands, billions of bits that now, are erased from our common language, and thus are actualy erased from our "proffesional consciousness". Nature is the medicine because nature we are, and in nature we are becoming each second we aspire our air in our lungs. Not is that in cities there are not nature at all. If you open your eyes, cities are plenty of diversity, biodiversity and symbiodiversity (simbiodiversidad.blogspot.com). Life is always around you. Only you need to take HER in account, enjoy what was named: "the small things", and in that old way, of empowering our sensorial biopowers, we re enact all old shamanic techniques, that, as fericgla said, return you, and me to our childhood, across corporal movements almost identical to what children, on the beach de la cala del moral, make anyday, ss pp oo nn tt aa nn ee oo uu ss ll yy !!! :)))

Two years ago my husband spenta lot of time overseas for work. He would go for 2-4 weeks at a time. Ourhousehold was frighteningly peaceful. He ended up being gone for nearly fivefull months altogether that year. I felt as if I were on vacation. One lessperson to cook for, one less to clean up after, and less laundry to do. Plus no snoring soI sle...

Bruce took a few days off this week to spend time with the kids. I thought that we would be going away but it just didn't work out. Instead, we decided to take some day trips. We drove out to Starved Rock, a popular IL State Park , about 1 1/2 hours away. We had a late state, but we got on the road, past Joliet and through some of the flat land of...

Woo hoo! Our nineteenthanniversary was a calm, sane and enjoyable day. Last year Steve completelyforgot our anniversary. I bought him a card “In Deepest Sympathy in the Loss ofYour Friend”. I put it in his lunchbox the day after with the originalanniversary card that I had gotten him. To be fair, he was sheepish. As I sit here listening to myS...

Talking to Myself

One of the hardest things for me to deal with over the years of marriage to my Aspie husband is his tendency to self-medicate. His drug of choice is alcohol. The use of alcohol is a tricky and delicate subject. To drink or not to drink? A little or a lot? What constitutes too much? January 16, 1919 the U.S. ratified the 18th Amendment to our natio...

Being excluded it hard. Most people don’t enjoy being left out, being picked last, or even worse, not being chosen at all. We want to be wanted. We want to fit in. We want to belong, to matter, to make a ripple in the world around us. People with Aspergers generally know that they are out of step, but they don’t understand why. They may think ...

I like Flylady. She has good suggestions about wearing sturdy shoes, putting on a crown and listening to music. I've tried pretty Celtic Music. Doesn't work. I want to write and then I get depressed because I'm not. I've tried Disco. I get distracted by singing along. Same with Christian Praise and Worship. Loved it but started singing and praisin...

Over the years we havehosted a dozen or so foreign exchange students. One for an entire school year, others for two to four weeks at a time. They have all been a blessing to me,though one was thrust upon me at as an ‘emergency placement’ a few days afterchildbirth, so I probably wasn’t a very good hostess. Hungarian guest, I hopeyou forgive m...

I fumed for about an hour about a small slight against my youngest . My husband just shook his head and said, like me, he's tired of it. It's not about one incident. It's about a thousand small slights heaped up on top of each other and then I got it. I am mad. Not angry mad. But stupid insane stubborn booby hatch mad. I have kept thinking "Why wo...

I finally got it

“But Daddy, you need to turn right.” Our youngest son was three years old. He and my husband were on their way to some property to cut firewood. My husband’s old truck was lumbering down the road on a fine spring day. Our son loves time with dad doing ‘man chores’. Wood cutting was sublime! After about an hour’s drive northward f...
