I have a great starter collection of old buttons! Extracted from a large assortment (by an experienced member of the National Button Society), it contains sets and individual buttons made of glass, painted wood, celluloid, gold-toned metal depicting various insignias, silver-toned metal, meshed, diminutives, shoe-buttons, rhinestone-decorated, plastic, moonstone, and pearlized.
Another unsorted bag of large buttons awaits your discoveries.

I found a small button in a keepsake box of a deceased relative. It has the word "Cantribum" on it, can anyone help identify where it originated?
