For several years now women have been seeing corsets becoming more and more popular. Why? For two reasons: #1. Its now considered to be sexual fun-ware. #2. It is the standard garb for goths.
But what about this other antiquated piece of "fashion"? If you can even call Chastity Belts "fashion"...?
From Toronto's Gothic scene to the palaces and landscapes of South Korea, Charles Moffat continues to grow as a professional photographer. While he continues to explore painting as his main artistic practice, photography seems to be a growing occupation for him. He is currently planning an art show of both his paintings and his photographic works.
Moffat's paintings and photography span topics of politics, feminism, activism, anti-censorship, advertising, sexuality, homophobia, pacifism, fetishes, capitalism & the oil industry. Moffat's recent move to South Korea marks him as an international artist with an interest in the brewing politics happening along the DMZ (the de-militiarized zone) between North and South Korea.
