Cartoons Lovers Tape Trading

Okay, so I've seen a bit of anime in my time. But I have to say that I'm just not that big on it, though i realize that it's HUGE and has all but dominated current cartoon making. So please, those of you who are anime fans please help to educate the uninformed (like me) and tell us why you like it better than "old school" cartoons...

There are a lot of great animated series adapted from comic books, but overall I like those from the '90's more than the current shows. I'm not a huge anime fan, and all the current shows seem to be very anime-influenced. I prefer the '90's shows like The Tick, Spiderman, and best of all X-Men. That show was just perfect.
Anyone disagree?

I think it's fair to say that Disney has put out some of the better cartoon series that we're seen over the last 2 decades. So here's the question, which is your favorite?
As for me, I'm going to have to go with Gummy Bears currently. I got the show on dvd from one of the sites featured here, and it's such a fun show! Plus, it has a lot of famous voices, like the voice who did Tigger, Pooh, and other Disney voice standards. Plus it's just a fun show with all the fanasy elements.
So how about everyone else?
