I'm trying to find someone to answer a question for me. We have one guinea pig (1y/0 male) and we want to get another, but we are afraid the one we have might end up hurting a new one. Our pig is a very sweet boy, but we've been told they can fight if a new one is introduced.
Can anyone give me any insights into this? Would it be best not to get another guinea pig?
I am looking at starting to breed guinea pigs to hopefully supply to pet shops as every time we go to the shop they are in short supply and have no idea when there next guinea pigs are coming in. Can anyone help me with info or let me know where to find info on doing this. Not sure if I need a license or something.

Our goal is to breed the healthiest and most beautiful skinnies and make them available to the mountain area of the US. There are many great breeders on the East and West coasts of the US and I know that skinnies are available in the Mountain area, but they are hard to find. Skinny pigs are becoming more available as people become aware of them and breeders decide to breed this unusual guinea pig.
