For my thesis I'm doing a small survey about retro computing. I would like to know what the retro computer lovers do currently and what is their motivation for using old hardware and software. The survey can be completed in under 5 minutes and I'll be very grateful for every submission I receive. Any random comments, notes and stories are also very welcome.
The Cottonwood BBS Informational Website provides information on Cottonwood BBS, tips on connecting to the BBS, and you can also download the final releases of All American BBS software for both the C64 and C128 here, as well as the source code for each.
This german site covers everything you still can do *today* with your Commodore 64 (e.g. C coding using cc65, ContikiOS etc.). It will also feature articles related to retro lifestyle and other Commodore systems such as the Amiga. It is also the project home of ContikiBBS, a small BBS program based on Contiki.
