Classic Movies and Musical Theatre

Untitled document If you love musical theatre and/or classic (and musical) movies, you are in the right place!  Pictured: Annalisa Ericson and Nils Poppe in the first Swedish production (in 1942) of Jerome Kern's and Oscar Hammerstein's musical "Show Boat" at the Oscarsteatern in Stockholm.  Show Boat is generally recognized as the first "musical" (as opposed to operatta, burlesque and vaudeville).  On the NavBar:  Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman about to share a kiss in "Casablanca."
