The ancient African Imhotep's enormous talents and his work as a healer are legendary. His accomplishments are a matter of historical record. Imhotep was a poet, architect, and physician who served under four ancient Egyptian kings. He was chief architect for Djoser’s pyramid at Saqqara. After his death, ancient Egyptians worshipped him as the god of healing for 2,000 years after his death. ~~~ The Critical Psychology web ring provides an interlocked series of sites that explore the theoretical, methodological and practical ways in which critical psychology provides challenges to the often oppressive practices of mainstream psychology. ~~~
