I created this webring because I believe that the Curly Horse is undeservedly rare in Canada and that it's praises need to be sung from the highest peaks.
We raise Dominant Curly Missouri Foxtrotters and Tennessee Walkers. We are also branching out into curly Spotted Saddle Horses. Our horses are among the rarest in the world. In the whole world there are only about 120 dominant curly horses that are also registered with the Missouri Foxtrotting Horse Breeders Association (MFTHBA). Our curly horses are all registered with MFTHBA and some are also registered with Spotted Saddle Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association (SSHBEA). We also have lots of color in our herd. We have palomino, buckskin, champagne, sabino, tobiano, and roan.
Turtle Creek Farm is home to ZGC Memphis Belle who is a dominant curly Missouri Fox Trotter. Belle's pedigree is outstanding and she resembles Memorial's Sassy Princess who is her granddam. Rex's Golden Touch, WGC Performance Studs and Geldings,graces the top and bottom of her pedigree; I believe this is where she gets her showy attitude. Her future in producing outstanding gaited curlies and smooth coats has just begun. Hopefully, her first foal will be born in 2011. I've narrowed the list and will pick from three studs soon.
