The Darwin Days web ring includes event sites for Darwin Day celebrations around the globe, special resource and tribute sites and other online pages of value to Darwin Day participants, event organizers and interested individuals. Darwin Day is an international celebration of science and humanity taking place on or around the date of February 12, each year - marking the birth date of Charles Darwin, the "father of evolution." Darwin Day events include a variety of participants and venues such as museums, schools, community groups, libraries, bookstores, online sites, and friendly get-togethers. Activities are also diverse and may include lectures, symposiums, informational booths and distribution, educational field trips, entertainment, fun and games, and more.
