Hi All -
Introducing some of the newest additions here at Alt-Ostland:
UCI INT CH V(USA) Eik v Clausberg SchH3 Kkl-2 Lbz a-normal
AND Voxi v Haus Iris SchH1 Kkl-1 Lbz a-normal
Voxi was shipped bred to Janosch vd Sperlingsbucht. This will be a very interesting pedigree for DDr enthusiasts that really work their dogs. This pedigree boast a handful of BSP and LGA competitors, which as you know is pretty rare for DDR dogs.
Voxi (and her litter) is co-owned with Judy Dominguez vom Haus Benedict German Shepherds).

On Friday Aug 26th, coming in from Germany after waiting three years to talk her owner out of her...
HEIDI vom ODLAND, Henry's littermate.
She's bred to Iwo v Parchimer Land for a litter due Sept 8th. This will be the Alt-Ostland C-litter. Reservations are coming in and are strongly recommended.
Heidi is V-rated, SchH1; Iwo is SchH3 IPO3 and competed in the LGA (German Regional Championships) twice, which is rare for DDR dogs; additionally, he is one of very few dogs that I know of to obtain a perfect 300 score in a SchH trial! Keep your fingers crossed for a great litter for Heidi!

As some may know the B-litter with Bonnie all perished and so the Xilla litter became the B-litter by default. Balou (sable boy) went to live with Ingrid and Paul deOude in Thunder Bay Ontario Canada.
Bishop (the only blk male) went to live with Collen Gott in Round Mountain, TX (von RunderBerg kennel).
Both awesome, happy upbeat puppies. Xilla did good!

On July 26th, Exe's puppies decided they'd waited long enough; unfortunately thefirst pup was huge and breach, presenting nothing but a tail... THANKS to Colleen Gott (dog-sitter extraordinaire) for watching Exe like a hawk for me. An emergency C-section produced a litter of 11, but inthe long run four were lost. The sire is V-Urs vd Gansebrucke, SchH2 Kkl1 a-normal. 2 sable females are available from this breeding. Thanks to Jill Frost for entrusting me with her and her litter!

July 2-3 there was a UCI INT show at Hutto, TX. I brought Yello v Haus Iris, and my newly acquired Exe v Clausberg. Exe was 5 weeks pregnant, and what a tank! I showed Yello to 4 V-1's and an INT CH under Int Judge Steve Keating. Exe was shown by my dear new friend Collen Gott, who has legs long enough to make a big bitch like Exe move well in the ring! Exe got 3 V-1's, 2 of them Best of Breed, then we put her up. She earned her INT CH under Keating also. Three of Henry's pups also showed quite well, taking ALL SG-1's, 2 of them best bred-by-exhibitor. The one who did NOT get BBX lost to her littermate! Dixie vd Ehrenquelle is co-owned with Marci Linn of Saginaw TX and is an awesome little bitch! Look for that one to be tearing up the obedience and agility rings as well as showing! Marci is awesome too!
We're all looking forward to the next INT show (first weekend of Feb)and talking about hitting some UKC shows in the meantime. Hope to see some of you there!

HI all -
Yvett had her pups, 2 days early, lost one of 5 dark sable females, (a couple are very black sable) then she had a very very dark black sable male at 4 pm yesterday. I thought he was solid black until I looked under his tail - even wiped him to make sure it wasn't just ... well, you know... no need to be that graphic :) It was indeed a mahogany brown marking and did not wipe off.
All are doing great. Pondering "A" names....
