Euthanasia is the practice of killing an innocent person because someone decides that person is suffering too much or is a burden on the family or on society. A blatant example of euthanasia is the case of Terri Schiavo, who was starved and dehydrated to death for the crime of being severely disabled. Except her death took 13 days and was a horrible ordeal. Supposedly, euthanasia is humane. This ring is for sites that discuss the issue of euthanasia, the way it totally violates human rights, no matter who decides (because the patient is usually clinically depressed and the doctor has a duty to help with this problem, and is committing malpractice if he kills instead). It is for discussions of the ramifications of euthanasia, the impact on the individual, the family, and the society. We have already been down that road; it was called Naziism. We must not let that happen here.
