Hope I have posted this question in the right place.
My 4 year old Springer has been diagnosed with a Cruciate Ligament Rupture. I have been advised to have it operated on which is both very expensive and extremely limiting for quite a few months (about 6). Has anyone had a springer with this injury? How well did any operation work or how well did conservative treatment work?
Many thanks

Please can anyone help, I have a 5 year old male english springer which is poorly the vets do not know what is wrong with him even tho they have run tests on blood urine etc.. I am waiting to be refered to the Langford small Animal hosptal near Bristol but need help now. He is lethargic, not really interested in his food, doen't want to play, sleeps most of the day, growls if I try to touch him, the only time he seems sort of normal is when I take him for a walk he is so not himself and I am very worried as the vets do not seem to have a clue. If anyone has experience of this then i would appreciate some advice please

hello, i own a black springer spaniel (bred for show) and in the past few months he has started to have a dark brown/mahogany coat (not feathers) vs black. he is healthy, black in all places except where he receives a show clip, he is indoors 99% of the time. Any ideas? Any remedies? Thanks
