I have a daughter whom is in her forth year of college. Her mother and I have been divorced since she was a baby. I had a good relationship with my daughter until her second year of high school. She became upset with me over my stopping her mother from claiming my daughter as a tax deduction out of turn, and using the money to buy her a car. I have never been late in child support, or any other payment. My daughter has chosen to completely drop everyone on my side of the family. It has now been six years since I last saw or spoken to her, yet I was orderer by the court to pay a portion of her college and to continue paying full child support. I was just informed that she will be attending another year of college. How is this fair to a father who gets no respect? I am being held captive by my child with full backing of the court. How is this fair to my son from my current marrage who respects me? What if I don't have enough money left for his college? The court dosn't care about him, or my current respective family at all.
