The Ryder Lifeboat built in 1902 and was in service with the RNLI Looe in Cornwall until 1930 - Ryder is a Standard Self Righting Type which became the mainstay of the RNLI. fleet for over 80 years. Over 800 "Self Righter" of various dimensions were built and saw service around the UK and Irish coasts. The Ryder was restored in 1999.
