did Steve work with E from the Eels, and if he did, will the material be released?

Just read a fantastic NEW BOOK ABOUT STEVE PERRY! Of course it is fiction, but the description of the character completely fits, and there are little clues scattered throughout the book that you should be able to pick up if you know a little about his history. By the end of chapter 1 you suspect, and by chapter three you won't be able to put it down. It's called EL REY: A NOVEL OF RENAISSANCE IBERIA. Click on the cover to read the first six chapters for free on amazon. Anyone who is a fan of our Steve should check it out. I've included the link below. Just trying to spread the word to my fellow Steve Perry fans!!!

I can not believe that after all these years. This guy (Steve Perry) still holds close to him bad blood. Let it go. Are we adults or children? You let this guy singing your songs out there. What ever it is, and I do not know. We love you. but if it you let it continue well, all I can say is sorry for you. (sigh) Grown up!!!!

"OH SHERRIE, HOLD ON, HOLD ON HOLD ON!"

TO WHAT, STEVE????? THERE'S NOTHING THERE!!!!

As of today, February 18, 2007, Dan Stacy of the Journey Digest is taking over management & ownership of the Journey Webring. Dan has managed the Journey Digest discussion group/board for over 10 years; it's the original (and the longest-running) Journey discussion group on the web.

Please join me in welcoming Dan to the Journey!

I'll post this everywhere I can, and maybe he'll see it. A message to Steve Perry. To the tune of Send Her My Love (by Nancy O.O):

It’s been so long
Since we’ve seen your face
Our hearts are missing you
I still recall a concert night
You sang your songs and made us sigh
We DIDN’T want to say goodbye

CHORUS:
Please sing again
Just one more time for us
With Journey on the stage
in Saratoga
Please come to SPAC

An awesome stage
Fans who still care
And want to see your face
We needed so much more
And we still live
To hear your voice just one more time
Please don’t let this be the end

CHORUS:
Callin’ out to your we’re beggin’
Modesty is out the window
It’s your voice
That keeps on haunting us

Please sing again
Just one more time for us
With Journey on the stage
In Saratoga
Please come to SPAC

I missed the 80's concert scene. Steve, if you could hook-up with Journey one more time it would be THE CONCERT OF THE CENTURY!!!!

Is Steve Perry in concert this year 2011 with the band Journey?

It is a personal web site dedicated to the things I love. My Corgis, trains, and the music I love which my favorite band is Journey!!! The pictures I posted of the band are from the day they got their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Like everyone else that was there, and there were a lot of fans there, I wanted Steve Perry's' autograph. That didn't happen, but I'm still hoping one day that I will get it.

Everyone,

I was doing routine maintenance on the Journey Webring, and realized that a number of sites were missing, through no fault of their own. On further checking, I realized it was all the sites that had the Ring's navigation code in odd places (ie, on a "links" page).

I check the Ring management area and found that Webring added a function to auto-suspend sites without the ringcode, and then to AUTO-delete sites that are suspended for a week. AND Webring turned that function on as a default.

Webring only reads code as "valid" if it's on the site front page or a webring.html page. Unfortunately, this means that a number of great sites were deleted from the Ring through no fault of their own.

If you are one of the affected sites, PLEASE re-apply to the Journey Ring at

http://s.webring.com/wrman?ring=journeywebring&addsite

If you are not sure, shoot me a message through the Ring system. I will add your site back in as fast as possible, and I apologize for the problem.

You might need to update your Ring code on your page, as Webring has a bad tendency to assign new code "numbers" to existing sites. You do not need to place the ringcode on your front page or on a webring.html page; I've turned those particular functions off for the Journey Ring.

(and THANKS, Webring, for making me find about the changes the hard way grumble grumble.)

Chris
