Apparently the Old Time Farm Shepherds here are not the only all purpose breed in danger of being absorbed into specialty breeds. There is now a movement in Wales to prevent the absorption of the Welsh Collies (a very similar breed to the American English Shepherd) into the Border Collie mainstream.
