Much like the printed Christian Business directories that are circulated in places such as Christian bookstores, this ring is a collection of Christian businesses. Each site will reflect orthodox Christian belief, often called "cardinal doctrines", including belief in the Trinity, Jesus as true God and true man, salvation by faith as a result of Jesus' death on the cross, and so forth.
