A Molosser is a large dog from one of these breeds: Mastiffs, boxers, bulldogs, Newfoundlands, Rottweiler, and Swiss Mountain Dog in addition to many others. Molossers are stocky, well built dogs that are used for guarding, pulling carts, and search and rescue activities.
