This is a photo of George Francis Taylor (1886-1957) who was a Private in the Marine Corps during WW1. He was attached to the 2nd Batallion, 6th Marines, Company 79 and saw action in France. My question is: Does anyone know what the medal is he is wearing in this picture? It looks like the Croix de guerre but I can't see the crossed swords.
