I was part of the KTM RED BULL effort to put an American on top of the podium to win the Dakar Rally, which has never been done before. Back in January 2005, I finished as the top American winning rookie of the year finishing 9th Overall in my first try. In 2006 I placed 4th overall and in the 2007 Dakar Rally I was able to get on the podium placing 3rd overall.
