Good? Bad? Ugly?
Does it interfere too much with play? It is hopelessly flawed, or can it be repaired and done right?

Yes, there are two web rings for OU Sooner Sports at this time.
With the re-roganizing WebRing.com did 1 October, the manager of the OU Sooners WebRing deleted that ring to stay under the number of rings allowed for a free account.
I started this wring to replace it. Then, as I understand it, the WebRing management group got flooded with complaints about "where'd my ring go?" and reactivated the deleted rings and listed "deleted" as the manager for those rings. So the OU Sooners ring is back up, and the nav code on member's web pages is working. For now.
I've e-mailed the WebRing support team, and they're not sure at this time what will happen to the old ring. They may ask for a volunteer to take over managing it, which I would be willing to do (but wouldn't be upset if someone else did), or may wind up up deleting it.
If a decision is made to keep up the old ring, I would most likely delete this ring, so as to avoid duplication. I am not actively recruiting new sites any more until this is cleared up. But I do want to create an easy way for Sooner fans everywhere to stay connected and encourage fans to create their own fan sites for all of us to enjoy.
