Welcome to my genealogy pages! My families were mainly in West Virginia and Virginia, specifically Augusta, Culpeper, Hampshire, Botetourt, Giles, Putnam, Cabell, and Monroe counties. Many of my WV lines came from Pennsylvania. Surnames include Biggs, Pullen, Shingleton, McCallister, Swope, Ballard, Pownall, and many more.
I have at least 10 lines, direct & collateral that have been in southeast Pennsylvania since at least the mid 1700s. Many have stayed in this area the whole time, or have moved to Berks and Schuylkill Counties. My ever growing database includes many of the early families that settled in southeast Pennsylvania.
