Methley the base of the Pennine Water ways Aire & Calder Nav. Canals & Rivers to the north east & south, with the Aire from north & Calder from south. The Aire can be traced to Malham Tarn joining the Leeds Liverpool Canal. The Calder can be traced to Todmorden joining the Huddersfield Broad & Rochdale Canal on way. Continue east merges the two to join up the south bank of the Humber west of the Humber Bridge.
