This webring is web sites about Polynesia, especially the islands of the South Pacific. Hence it extends as far as the great family of Polynesian languages ranges, – from Madagascar off Africa in the west to the Easter Island off Chile in the east, – and from New Zealand in the south to Hawai`i in the north, – reached by the skills of Polynesian seafarers and shipbuilders. It embraces all aspects of Polynesian culture and history, in particular the Maritime History, such as Tonga's National Kalia Project. Its reconstruction constitutes an important national project in experimental archaeology, technology and art, craftsmanship and engineering!
