I have a philips 4 band stereo 7 tube radio, but it is in a very bad shape and secured from a junk shop. what to do with it.it body is in bakelite and has noo crack and it seems that all the parts are intact but all the wiring has been eaten by some rat.

I have an old tube type radio RCA 5T from the 30's. I want to play music thru it using a wireless mp3 player. I have heard this can be done with a rf modulator. Does anyone make one that will work on the am or short wave bands of the old radios? jpwhite
