The Silent Service WebRing is a group of sites dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the history of the United States Submarine Force. The sites are made up of pages regarding all types of submarines: gasoline, diesel and nuclear. The majority of the webmasters are submarine sailors from World War II to present. The rest are associated with submarine museums or are involved in historical research.
We have a new profile drawing of a Virginia Class Fast Attack sub, USS Texas SSN 775. These subs are designed to operate in littoral waters, as well as deep ocean environments. We would be happy to hear from any Submariners who've served aboard one to let us know if we have all our information correct.
