SENCTN provides communications and trains operators in the proper method of handling messages during emergencies, to learn net operations and procedures, pass traffic, make announcements and to post bulletins, to foster fellowship among amateurs; and provide a means of passing tactical information between participating Counties. This net will be superceded by Skywarn and/or ARES nets in times of emergency.
