I have a set of salt and pepper shakers that were made in England, and have a coronation emblem attached to the front, which has a picture of a crown, the letters L and R, and 1953 Coronation on it. Can you tell me how to find out more about these items? They are chromium plated, have 12 holes on the top of the salt shaker, and one hole on the pepper.

We inherited a S&P collection of approx 150 to 200 shakers. Mostly of the novelty type. Mother collected for more than 50 years.
