These websites present a different viewpoint about adoption. They believe adoption is harmful to the birth mother and to the child. They are opposed to the exchange of babies through brokers, for money, those who investigate the consequences of relinquishment and adoption; or abuse, coercion, and manipulation in the adoption industry. Some are proposing alternatives to relinquishment by women facing the birth of a child without the minimal support required during and following pregnancy, for herself and her child.
