The Tournament of Bands features high school marching bands from New York to North Carolina competing in four "groups" based upon the number of musicians. The competition culminates in 13 Chapter Championships held in early November. The top 25 bands in each group then compete in the Atlantic Coast Championships held the following weekend at Lackawanna County Stadium in Scranton, PA. Membership in this ring is restricted to TOB member bands.
