Native Americans make many different kinds of traditional art, including pottery, woven baskets and rugs, jewelry, costumes for ceremonial dances, wooden kachinas, and others. Materials customarily use include clay, wool, silver, turquoise, wood, coral, azurite, malachite, lapis, opal, reeds, and dyes derived from plants and minerals. In addition to traditional designs, many artists are developing new designs. These sites showcase, and sometimes sell, art made by Native Americans.
