LVU is opgericht in 1982 en heeft als doelstelling om een gezellige vereniging te zijn waar iedereen van jong tot oud de schietsport kan beoefenen.
Luchtbuksvereniging Udenhout is aangesloten bij de KNSA en is ingedeeld in District 4 (Noord-Brabant / Limburg / Zeeland).
