Untitled document

A WebRing in which to find Edwardian and Victorian hatmakers & millinery designers, costumers, clothing designers, restoration experts, costume history enthusiasts, vintage clothing/ephemera collectors, vintage clothing dealers and anyone who loves the elegant fashions and beauty of the Edwardian and Victorian Eras... and the wonderful Red Hat ladies (who epitomize the Victorian and Edwardian ideals of friendship and sisterhood).   Pictured:  A detail of an 1896 picture of Dame Ellen Terry (February 27, 1847 - July 21, 1928)  onstage as Imogen in Sir Henry Irving's Lyceum Theatre production of William Shakespeare's "Cymbeline," in a costume created by British painter Sir Laurence Alma Tadema (1836-1912).  Irving and Shakespeare lived, respectively, 1838-1905 and April 26, 1564 – April 23, 1616.
