The Vulcan's spark plugs must receive regular maintenance for the most effective performance. Remove the two spark plugs from the engine's cylinders and inspect them, taking care to replace any plugs that appear damaged or burnt. The Vulcan 750 takes NGK DP7EA-9 or ND X22EP-U9 spark plugs with a gap of 0.032 to 0.036 inches.
The 1999 Vulcan 800 Drifter, the 1500 Nomad and the 1500 Drifter belong to the custom and cruiser class Kawasaki motorcycle line, which was developed in 1984. These bikes are powered by V-Twin engines, ranging in displacements from 125 to 2000cc. The Vulcan recalls the styling of the 1930s and 1940's American-made Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles with their burbling exhaust, significant power under the seat and comfort in long haul riding. The 800 Drifter is built to attract the novice rider and stay closer to home. The Vulcan 1500 models offer comfortable interstate riding.
