Ever tried a wheat compress?
2 to 6 lbs of wheat (depending on the size of the painful area) boiled in 2 to 6 quarts of water for 20 minutes. After straining off the water, the hot wheat kernels are placed on a folded towel in bed. Spending 2 to 3 hours upon the hot kernels (taking care not to burn) once a day for 5 to 10 days provides relief.

The complex carbohydrates are high-fiber foods, which help improve digestion, stabilize blood sugar, and maintain the energy levels.

Foods containing the high amounts of complex carbohydrates are bran, oatmeal, maize, barley, buckwheat, cornmeal, pasta, macaroni, spaghetti, potato, brown rice, shredded wheat, bagel, wholegrain cereals, corn, peas, muesli, yam, beans and lentils.

Some beans contain a higher percentage of complex carbohydrates and more nutrients. Beans such as chickpeas, white beans, black eye peas, refried beans, garbanzo beans and navy beans are rich in complex carbohydrates.

Calcium Rich Dairy Products: Calcium in dairy products like milk, cheese and yogurt act as fat burner that can boost weight loss by increasing fat breakdown in fat cells.

Nuts help feel full while also increasing the body's ability to burn fat.

Chilies: Foods containing chilies or cayenne pepper are considered to be as foods that burn fat.

Cardamom: Cardamom is a thermogenic herb like Capsaicin that increases metabolism and helps burn body fat.

Curry leaves (Curry Patta): Curry leaves flush out fat and toxins, reducing fat deposits in the body.

Garlic: Garlic contains the anti-bacterial sulphur compound allicin which helps reduce cholesterol and unhealthy fats, making it an effective fat-burning food.

Cabbage: Cabbage, raw or cooked inhibits the conversion of sugar and other carbohydrates into fat, making it good for weight reduction.

Proteins: Protein rich foods and high fiber foods are best foods burning belly fat.

Green Tea: Studies show that green tea revs up your metabolism.

Fish oil: Fish oil is great for helping your body burn fat more efficiently. Some of the other foods that may be included in the list are asparagus, beet root, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, chilies, beans, soybeans, sweet potatoes, blueberries and watermelon.

Honey: Honey mobilizes the extra fat deposits in the body.

Three strength-building sessions per week can reduce neck pain by a whopping 80 percent in less than three months, according to Denmark's National Research Centre for the Working Environment, which studied 42 women ages 36 to 52.

Researchers believe that strength-training (they used the three moves below) may help generate new muscle in place of injured tissue.

For each, keep knees slightly bent. Using 2-to 5-pound dumbbells, do three sets of eight to 12 reps, three times a week on nonconsecutive days.

Shoulder shrugs: Hold arms at sides, palms facing in. Keeping arms straight, pull shoulders up to ears, pause for a second, and lower.

Reverse flies: Bend forward so chest faces floor, arms hanging down, palms in. With elbows slightly bent, squeeze shoulder blades and raise arms to sides, parallel to floor; pause, then lower.

Upright row: Start with palms in front of thighs and facing legs. Bend elbows out to sides, and pull weights up to about collarbone level. Pause, then lower.

Most drug manufacturers sponsor what's called "Patient Assistance Programs". These programs are intended to help those who otherwise can't afford prescription drugs.

This could include those who do not have health insurance or seniors not covered by Medicare. If you are approved, they say it only takes two to three weeks to get medications.

Two places to help you find patient assistance programs for which you or a family member may qualify are:

For migraine headaches, relatives recommend the prescription medication "Imitrex".

They say it is the best help they have ever found, that a migraine will be gone within 30 minutes.
